The Challenge

Our client is an established Financial Services provider in the UK marketplace.

They were launching a Retail Wrap Platform. Due to previous delivery delays, the Programme was stalling due to a high backlog of defects, along with operational enhancements and propositional requirements.

The client asked Clarius to evaluate these competing demands, broker a wider business agreement on the optimum delivery roadmap, and place key resources to ensure successful delivery.

The Approach

Our client’s current Wrap offering was assessed, and we gained an understanding of the organisational drivers, operational requirements and key success criteria.

Driven by the business impacts, benefits and delivery complexity of all the outstanding defects, enhancements and propositional requirements. we brokered cross-functional discussions across the client’s key business stakeholders to establish an agreed, prioritized and achievable delivery Roadmap.

Finally, we assessed and enhanced the structure of the delivery team to improve focus on the agreed outcomes ensuring successful, value-based, delivery of the programme

The Outcome

The initial four-week project provided our client with an objective view and recommendation for optimising propositional delivery, operational efficiency and quality. The delivery team then went on to successfully execute implementation and realise the expected benefits over the following 12 months.
